Preparing surfaces properly is the MOST important part of any paint job

• We are EPA certified, and use Lead-Safe Work Practices (LSWP) on any project where lead based paint is present.
• All heavy furniture is placed on sliders and carefully/gently moved and draped for protection.
• All areas NOT to receive paint are draped for protection, (Cabinets, Counters, Carpet, Hardwood Flooring, and Floor Tile, etc.)
• All switch and receptacle plates are removed. Hardware is removed from doors and windows as required.
• We prepare surfaces in a skillful manner to produce finish work of first class appearance and durability.
• We repair all voids, cracks, dents, etc. with suitable patching material and finish flush with adjacent surface.
• All Trim is hand sanded, and all Walls are pole sanded prior to receiving paint. Ceilings are pole sanded unless they are Textured.
• Baseboards, doors, and other trim receive two coats of Premium Interior Trim paint.
• Walls receive two to three coats as needed with Premium Interior Paint.
• Ceilings are painted to coverage with Premium Interior Ceiling paint.
• Holes in drywall are prepped, patched, sanded and primed.
• Damaged drywall is removed and replaced with new drywall, (tape, skim coat, sand).
• Remove wallpaper/glue residue, and prime. Prepare walls for paint, (fill imperfections, skim coat, sand).

• Pressure Wash/Chemically Clean the exterior of the home to remove dirt, mildew, chalk and loose paint.
• Scraping and sanding (hand and/or machine) of any remaining loose paint and spot priming any bare wood or other areas that require priming i.e., damaged areas or areas that have been repaired with new materials.
• Caulking of any gaps and cracks as required.
• All surfaces are sanded prior to receiving paint.
• Careful protection of surfaces that are NOT to receive paint, such as decks, porches, patios, bushes/flowers, windows, driveways, etc..
• Siding and Soffits are brushed with two coats of Premium exterior Sherwin Williams Lifetime Warranty “Duration”paint.
• Trim, i.e. fascia boards, windows, shutters, doors, garage door trim, porch posts, etc. are brushed with two coats of Premium exterior Sherwin Williams Lifetime Warranty “Duration” paint.
